Dumb. Dumb. Dumb.

Seriously my life is SOOOO frustrating right now!! So ever since I started working nights my sleep schedule is MESSED up! I never can sleep when I want to and am so tired when I want to be awake. This is me

.

Seriously I look tired eh? And Linda...yes. This is my red robe. And yes I still rock it.

So there you have it. This is what Mandi looks like at 2 in the morning when she has had 4 hours of sleep in the last 38 hours. Scary I know.

I blame Tyson. He wouldnt let me turn the fan on tonight in our room cuz he was freezing. Which means I was sweating to death with no blankets while he has no fan and is LITERALLY shivering to death under 4 huge blankets. And while I lay there awake tossing and turning, he has the nerve to snore. I wanted to smash him. Seriously at least sleep quietly.

On a happy note...we started re-siding our house today!! It is going to make it look SOO much better!! I will have to post some pictures when it is done. But first I have to find my camera. And then my battery charger for that camera.

Anyways...I'm going to find our bottle of benadryl and knock myself out for the night....

Happy Love Day

Happy Anniversary to...ME! And TYSON. haha. Yup. That's right. We made it 2 years. Only got eternity to go. :) Which if I'm honest I am even more excited for now than I was 2 years ago!! Seriously...My husband is the coolest! And I love him more than anything in the world!
So on this happy love day I have been reminiscing a LOT. And I decided to write down all my first memories of Tyson. So anyone not in the mood to read a gushy love post...stop now. haha
FIRST TIME SEEING TYSON: He showed up at my apartment dressed as a cowboy to take my roommate on a date. Nice....
FIRST TIME TALKING TO TYSON: He took me and my roommate to lunch, and spit ice-cubes through a straw at me the whole time. How cute right?
FIRST PRESENT FROM TYSON: He brought me flowers from the cabin before I knew he really liked me as more than a friend. I thought it was a joke and threw them away. To this day he brings that up every time I ask for flowers.
FIRST TIME TYSON TOLD ME HE WANTED TO TAKE ME ON A REAL DATE: We were driving in his car home from Wal-mart, and I was trying to stack as many golf balls in my hand as I could (long story...he had a TON of golf balls in his car at one point) and he finally after a TON of prompting told me what was "bothering him". He told me he liked me as more than a friend, and wanted to date me. Instead of answering I dropped every golf ball, and after a long LOOONNNNGGG silence told him we could never be more than friends.
FIRST DATE WITH TYSON: Anyone who knows Tyson, knows he is PERSISTANT. Seriously, if he wants something, and gets an idea in his head, you can't talk him out of it. Needless to say, I ended up telling him I would go on a real date with him. We went quading. I made him tie a Canadian flag to our four wheeler. Turns out it was the easiest, funnest date I had ever been on. Who knew?? No one actually. We didnt tell anyone we were dating till after we had been secretly dating for like a month.
FIRST KISS: We were talking one night in "our spot", a secluded potato field outside of Rexburg. haha. I had had a rough day, and was venting, and all of a sudden he kissed me! Best kiss I've ever got...and I get those kisses for eternity!
FIRST TIME SAYING I LOVE YOU: Sitting in a tractor. He said, I think I'm in love with you. I didnt stop smiling for days.
FIRST TIME BEING ENGAGED: Same potato field. In "our spot". Watching a lightning storm
FIRST HOUSE: Bakers trailer court (ironic, I know), #49. Rexburg Idaho
FIRST PET: Lucy. AKA Kitty. Our cat.
Well, thats about all my "firsts" I can think of. All I can say is that I love this guy more than life. No one makes me laugh more, takes better care of me, gives better hugs than Tyson Storer. And I am soooo excited for ETERNITY with this guy!!

Oh Canada

So I haven't blogged in FOREVER and a ton of exciting stuff has happened. We went to Canada for Brad's provincials and they won...We went to Canada again just for fun and it was awesome...I got a more for real job at the hospital where I don't get put on call every shift which is ALSO AWESOME...except I have to work tonight and miss the July 4 fireworks which are my favorite EVER so I'm pretty bummed...AND I got to go to Canada for July 1 which I NEVER get to do!! And I planned on taking lots of pictures to document it and totally forgot, so oops. But we just got back last night from our amazing trip. We hung out with family, and friends I hadn't seen in FOREVER...and then we watched the parade and watched some of the awesome family softball tourny...went to the fireworks, and of course had to spend a ton of time playing world cup in my grandparents back yard. And the best part of it all is I get to go back in two weeks when even more of my family will be there! YA!
Anyways...basically the trip was awesome, and then we got home...and realized we literally had NO food in our house. I needed to go grocery shopping about 2 weeks before we went to canada, so we were down to nothing. And I was feeling really lazy and just ate some gram crackers I found in the back of one of our cupboards. But that wasn't enough for Tyson...and since his cooking skills consist of making cereal, and mac and cheese and we had no milk...he was left hungry. Finally he said, with his best puppy dog eyes...will you please feed me? I'm going to die. haha so what could I do?? It was then that I realized that the next day was July 4 and nothing was going to be open...so I decided to branch out and try and make some bread! What?? I know...I've never even thought about trying before. So I was all excited made the dough...put it in the oven...

And I think it exploded a little bit. haha I was pretty nervous and it kept getting bigger and bigger! maybe I put too much in the pan??

Everyone waiting so eagerly for the bread! YA!! How annoying eh?? After begging for food Tyson fell asleep! And once he is gone, he is gone for the night!!

The FINISHED PROJECT!!

And me...enjoying it all by myself because everyone else was dead asleep. hahaha

Rainy Day

Today is the rainiest boringest day I've had in a long time. So I decided to blog. And since I have nothing to blog about I am going to just write 11 random thoughts. Because since I've been sitting around doing nothing all day, I have a lot of those.

#1. I seriously have a love/hate relationship with the brick breaker game on my blackberry. I can't stop playing it but it's so annoying and I can't get passed level 8. Really, honestly, I have a love/hate relationship with my blackberry. Who decided it was a good idea to make a phone so confusing to use? I've only had it for a few days, and I'm starting to figure it out, but really...

#2. Today I was making lunch and sliced my finger open on our 5 year old falling apart dollar store cheese grater. So I put a band aid on and made Tyson drive me to walmart right then to buy new one.

#3. I am wearing jeans. WHAT? I am not a jean person, so why the heck am I wearing jeans on the most boring day of my life? I'll tell you why. Tyson said, lets go to Idaho Falls. so I went and put jeans on. Then he decided to play xbox with Riley instead and I am too lazy to change. It's probably good for me. I never get dressed anymore. I wear scrubs to work, come home and change into sweats, sleep in my garments, then wake up and put sweats back on. Or scrubs if I'm going to work.

#4. My ringtone for when my mom calls me is O Canada.

#5. I've read the hunger games books twice now, and love them. I hope the movie is good, because I loved the twilight books too but then I watched the movies and hated them and it kind of ruined the books for me.

#6. I was ticked off that the globetrotters didn't win the Amazing race last night. Even though I was still mad at them for U turning the coyboys and making them get eliminated.

#7. My middle name is Jean. When I was in elementary school I hated that name and told everyone my middle name was Jay. Then my cousin Justin told everyone I lied one day at recess and I was so embarrassed. Now I like my middle name so it's all good.

#8. I bought Tyson 2 fish for Easter. The little one lived for 2 days. The big one lived for 1 week. Tyson's aunt gave me a potted plant for easter. I just hope I'm better at plants than I am at fish.

#9. One day when our big fish was still alive, Alisha and BJ (our neighbors) snuck to our house while we were gone and put their little fish in with our big fish. When I got home I FREAKED out cuz I thought my big fish had a baby. Litterally was shocked and spazzing. My little 11 year old sister had to tell me that's not how fish have babies.

#10. I am writing this on Riley's computer. Our computer is broken and someone we know is trying to fix it. Ask me if this is the second time in like a month that our computer has broken? Ask me if that makes me mad. Ask me if I backed up my journal this time so I didn't lose it again? Yes/yes/no. :(

#11. Since it was mother's day yesterday...I have the most AMAZING mom in the entire world. I love her so much and am so unbelievably grateful for everything that she does. She is such an amazing example to me and I hope one day I can be even half the person that she is! If I had my computer I would post a picture of her and I.

Well...thats all I got! :)

guess what we got?

So I'm so excited about mine and Tyson's last purchase!! We bought a QUAD! YES!! (That's a four wheeler to all the American crazies).

Ya, we are SO excited! We love quading and basically spend our summers at Tyson's cabin riding around and relaxing and just having fun, but we always had to borrow from his family. So this year we decided to buy our own and then not have to feel bad everytime we want to go. It works our perfect because I can ride this and Tyson can ride his motor bike and we will be riding fools. :)
Only problem is it won't get warm here!! We bought this like 2 weeks ago and I've ridden it 1 time because all it will do here is RAIN and SNOW. I WANT IT TO BE SUMMER. so since I'm reminiscing last summer, here are some awesome pictures from our adventures last year...

Sooo attractive. I love that guy.

I rock. Notice how warm it was...how I didn't need a coat outside. I'm so jealous of that right now.

Family trip?

Anyways...I'm mostly just stalling because I am on call for work tonight and I never know when I can go to bed because I don't want to go to bed just to get called into work. That would suck.

Boys and their toys!

So yesterday Tyson and me went shopping. Except not the good kind of shopping. BOY shopping. :( Haha. Before we got married he got in a really nasty car wreck. His grandpa's truck was totaled, his cell phone got smashed in half, he ended up getting shoulder surgery because of it, he couldn't move for weeks after it, but not one of those things bothered him even half as much as this:

Yup. His precious shot gun was in the car with him and got ruined. For the life of me I'll NEVER understand it! I mean, I have nothing against guns, but I grew up in a home where we never had them! My mom is definitally not a fan cuz of some past expiriences she had, and my dad sold his shot gun to buy my mom a wedding ring, and never got another one! I met Tyson, and he took me shooting a lot, which was fun and all, but I guess I just never came to LOVE it.

Anyways, for a year and a half Tyson has waited for the case to be settled so that he could get the money to replace it. And things were getting close to finished the last month and ALL I've heard from him was begging to get different kinds of guns. And on Wednesday, after sitting in mediation with lawyers and judges for 8 hours, his case was finally closed, and Tyson got the funds he needed to get himself a new toy.

So Thursday, bright and early, Tyson started begging me to let him go buy one. Mostly cuz I was so sick of hearing him ask I gave in and we went boy shopping in Idaho Falls. Honestly Sportsmans warehouse is one store I have no interest in. Tyson gets almost as excited there as he does at the tractor stores! We had to run around and look at camping gear, and all the different stuffed REAL animals, and the fishing stuff (all these extra's cuz we were "there anyways!") and finally the guns. Then I had to stand next to Tyson while he talked for HOURS (it felt like) about the different guns they had with the sales guy, who kept giving me the "you don't belong here" look. Finally after MUCH deliberation, Tyson bought this:

Ok, so not that exactly, I don't think, but it looks just like that. I'm not gunna lie, Tyson would probably walk in and look at that and say, that is not at all the gun I bought, but if you put them both side by side, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference! Sooo after a long afternoon of boy shopping I made Tyson take me to Kohls, where I could spend the gift certificate we got for Christmas. I bought this:

well, not exactly this...but it's the closest picture I could find. And not the bed, just the bedding. It made up for everything! :)

Been a while?

Ya, its been a while. I figured out the whole working nights thing, kinda, and finished up my orientation at work and now only work part time. So that was a good break! And I keep thinking, I need to blog, but then I remember nothing exciting ever happens in our lives lately. Sooo I am just going to write down all the boring stuff.

Tyson got surgery in December on his shoulder. Seriously watching him come out of anesthesia was the FUNNIEST thing I have ever seen. They had these things on his legs that fill with air and then deflait to help with circulation after surgery and every time they would fill up he would yell at me to lock our cat up in the laundry room cuz she kept biting his toes. haha I was laughing so hard. He took forever to wake up and so he had a lot of funny comments that night. It was well worth it...I wish I would have video'd it. After that he had to learn how to sit at home for a few weeks which left me with a very grumpy husband since he does not handle sitting at home and doing nothing. But he's doing a lot better now. He even started physical therapy today! YA

Isn't he cute?? That was after he finally woke up HOURS after his surgery! poor guy was way sore for the next few days but I got to practice my best wife/nursing skills and take great care of him.

We got to go to Canada for New Years - I had to work Christmas...sad day...but we had tons of fun in Canada. Even though it was freezing the whole week we were there!

I started watching PSYCH on netfilx cuz we got a sweet new blu-ray player that plays netflix on it so that I can watch movies and tv shows instantly. Love it? Yes I do. I think I have watched more TV than I ever have in my life in the last few weeks.

Anyways...thats all I have to say. Maybe one day I will have exciting stuff to talk about?
